Somewhat confusing title there... but what I'm trying to do is add the 83/84 side skirts & front/rear lips to my 83 base model.

I have the parts but it came without all the mounting hardware.

Not really sure what I'm missing so hoping there are exploded diagrams of some kind out there?

Here's my car & what I bought, and then here's a car with them installed to get the idea of what I'm talking about!

 

there were metal brackets on the sides of the car below the doors to mount the side GFX. these can be removed from a donor car and welded onto your car.



the extensions off the front and rear bumpers were attached to the car with threaded studs and nuts through holes in the fender/rear quarter. here's a couple pictures of what i did on my car. i made new brackets since the factory ones were rotted and flimsy.






just an FYI: the side GFX you have are not correct for the '83-'84 aero package. yours look like a mid-late 80's GFX. the '83-'84 ones are not as tall. the fender vents are different between early and late 80's style as well. the opening in the vent is taller on '83-'84. here's a picture of mine. i actually blended the vent into the fender.

 

I pulled the set off an 84; they're correct! Weird angle shot possibly.

Had no idea I had to weld on additional parts. Had I known that I would have taken those from the donor.
