HELP: HOW to change Fog light bulbs in 1992 Camaro Z28

I cannot believe how difficult it is to find this answer. I have both Hayes and Chiltons book and neither of them even mention the fog lights. While they are mentioned in the index, only the Headlights, Corner lights, and parking lights are mentioned on the said page number.

I've asked a number of mechanics and I cannot even get a straight answer. They GUESS and tell me it's EASY, just reach thru the front and twist the bulb plug but not possible unless you have the hands perhaps narrow of that of a 3 year old and double jointed. Then they say, EASY reach underneath.. Once again, not so fast.. There is an air duct completely blocking access..

I have 1 fog light bulbs that has burned out and want to replace it myself; actually might as well do both since it's so difficult to do. I cannot even locate a single article online, or even a YOUTUBE (of all things) video for 3rd gen Camaro's and removable of the bulb except for a 1 video from 1AAuto.com. However that is USELESS because they have all the parts off the car.

I read that people say to reach thru the airducts under the air filters but you can't believe even if you remove the baffles underneath, it's just a slit.. Unless you have your air ducts GUTTED (cut out completely) then that won't work. I popped the hood and wondered about just unbolting the entire airduct assemble. But with a flashlight, I couldn't tell if that would open a space to each reach down or if anything ELSE is blocking and don't want to go to all the trouble if I don't know for sure.

Someone actually TELL ME exactly how to EASIER (or the easiest way out of the normal ways) to achieve this.

Unplug it and also take out the mounting bolt then take it off. I believe the head of the bolt was a Star head screwdriver and the nut is a 10mm. A stubby screw driver will be much easier to reach in behind to get at the bolt. Prob take 7 minutes per light.

I just did one on my T/A. See if there's anything here that helps.

The screws are a T-15 Torx on mine. The replaceable bulb on mine is held in by a wire clip. It is not a 1/4 turn like a side marker lamp.

I just did mine on a 91 Z28. Unscrew the adjustment screw all the way so the lamp is pointing down. Removed the screw and spring. That'll give you enough room to remove the bulb. Don't let the harness fall away, or you'll be fishing it out. It's a quarter turn type bulb. Good luck!
