Passenger window hard to crank after adjustment

I finally got around to adjusting my passenger window because it had too much play in and out. I removed the trim, closed my door, and adjusted the felt pads. Now I have a problem with the window feeling really stiff the lower I cranked it. It felt like it was going through a lot of pressure and I played around with a few adjustment screws but couldn't find the corresponding one to the cause of this.

I tried reading the Adjusting the Windows thread on this website but I had trouble understanding it without any pictures or I couldn't find it on there. The Haynes manual wants me to loosen every adjustment screw but I don't want to resort to that.

Any ideas?

Edit- Unless it's supposed to be stiff. I'm comparing it to my driver side door and it certainly feels like it requires more effort than what would be reasonable.

Edit 2- 5:32 pm, Friday August 19, 2016- I discovered the felt pads held stronger the lower the position of the window was. I've been adjusting it by closing my door with the window up, then positioning the felt pads to firmly but gently touch the window. I am in a predicament.

Edit 4- I found that the window was being marginally pressed outward against the A pillar triangle rail next to the Sideview mirror. I unscrewed a couple screws holding the weatherstripping and unscrewed two adjustment nuts hiding under them. Then I pushed the rail outward and set the nuts. That seemed to help a little.

Re: Passenger window hard to crank after adjustment

I've noticed the same thing. I have power windows but noticed that if I adjusted the felt pads certain ways the window would labor or squeak as it went down, so I just backed them off bit by bit until this didn't happen. I'd be curious if anyone knows a good way to adjust these.

Adjust with the window down.

The amount of pressure being pushed differs between the window up and the window down. When I adjust the felt pads with the windows down the results are a loose window when rolled up.
