Wonder could someone help me here. I have 82 Firebird S/E. Didn't have spoiler originally but put one on as I didn't think it looked right without it. Now I am thinking about putting on a 3rd Brake light. I looked at ebay but there seems to be different types, all very confusing for me. I have attached two images and wondering which of these would fit my spoiler if any. I know there is a wrap around spoiler and a brake light fitted high up on the glass on later models. I have also attached image of my type of spoiler. This one has the brake light fitted. Could someone point me in the right direction.

No rely at all! Has anyone got the standard spoiler with a brake light on it or point me in the right direction.

The one in your first photo looks to be the correct one. It will need to come from a 1987-90 Firebird. The one in the second photo is the 1986-only one that goes on top of the outside of the rear hatch glass. The third design (1991-92, not pictured) is much more square shaped, and goes on the inside of the rear hatch glass.

 

Thanks for your reply. The one on the first photo, do I need that white surround or just the light part that goes into it. Is the light part the same as on the later wrap around spoilers.
