Removing Rear Firebird Emblem

Axle/Gears: 3.45 9 bolt
Removing Rear Firebird Emblem

How do I remove the rear firebird emblem on my 87 GTA. It is cracked and faded and i am ordering a new one.

It's just double sided taped to the tail light center. You could try getting behind it with a flat tool, like a scraper or razor blade, or crack it away and peel it off. Usually I'd recommend a little heat, but as sensitive as the tail light center's are to heat and warping, I'd avoid heat if possible.
