Fender Question...

Can anyone tell me how to determine whether a Fender is original or after market? Yes, I know the after market fenders don't fit well, but this is on a car in the junk yard with no hood, so there's no way for me to check the "fit" of anything. This is on a '82 or '83 Trans Am. Are there any specific I.D. numbers I should be looking for?...

Re: Fender Question...

sometimes you'll see a sticker on the inside with the VIN number. I'm not sure what year they started doing this? but i've noticed the white stickers with VIN on bumper covers too.
