Door GFX piece not in line?

I installed the ground effects on my 1985 Z28 project, and noticed the driver side door piece does not sit flush with the rocker piece. It sits inwards about 1/4". Is there any way to adjust that? Only adjustment I would think is in the swing of the door in and out, but that would make it inconsistent from the front to the rear. Also, the only adjustment I need on my door is front to rear, so I can't be that. I will post pics as soon as I am back at the shop.

I'm not too sure what they're off of, but the passenger side piece lines up fine and I believe they're from the same car.
