Hi Guys.

I am sure this has been asked before but can anyone tell me if the left hand battery tray for the TPI Trans Am is any chance available now?

I have a passenger side one which is new and unless I cut it up and weld it (which seems a pity that is if the proper one is available?) plus it would be less hassle to fit and be correct.

Not that I've seen. However if you get one from a Camaro donor which has the battery on the right, the left tray should be more solid since it won't have had leaking batteries in it for decades. You can expand the search a bit, since carbed and TBI Firebirds also have the battery on the right.

 

Thanks Drew, I think I will have to mod the new RH side one I have, looks a fair bit to do.

I am finding were all the spot welds are at the moment, some clearer than others!
