So.. my Roxanne was a beautiful beast, she still is.. Just needs a bit of a face lift now..

This is what happens when a deer jumps in front of your and you swerve and loose control. This happened last night and it was honestly the most traumatic and scary thing in my life so far. I thought I was going to die when I couldn't get control and hit the bush. Nice thing is.. it's only really all the right side and the rear axle rod is bend a little. Really sucks to end my summer short like that, but it didn't roll, I didn't get impaled by a tree branch or die. So that's the main thing.

So now.. I need replacement parts. I am located in British Columbia, Canada on Vancouver Island. If I can't find any from a private seller.. What is the best place to go to?

Glad you're OK. Could've definitely been worse.
I know they say don't swerve to avoid an animal in the road but I would think that would be your natural reaction right? I've never had that happen to know (knock on wood).

it is a very scary experience, I was in my trans am and had to slam on the brakes when a deer jumped in front of me. I stopped within 1 foot of hitting the deer. I stopped so close to it that I was able to see all the muscles in the deer twitch and tighten as it jumped in front of my car. I will never forget it.

 

Huge Update!

There is a 1988 Camaro IROC-Z body for sale in my area. Has everything but an engine and trans.. Which in mine is undamaged. Hoping to buy in new year and swap everything over.
