I own a 1992 RS/Z28 camaro and I need opinions on what color stripes. The main color is going to be pearl white. I have tan interior and I was thinking about going with some light grey or dark grey ghost stripes. Any opinions ? I even considered black. Please give some opinions because I'm stuck on what color ghost stripes to get. Thanks

 

It comes down to taste. I think ghost stripes always look good on white. Or if you want some contrast, black would certainly do that. But in the end, it is up to what you like. There are tons of ways to lay stripes.

 

Yeah black would definitely contrast the white. I have a 2inch cowl induction hood, and I was really thinking about the light grey but I just feel as if it wouldn't pop that much.

 

Like Robbie said, it comes down to taste. I personally don't like a paint job that screams out Give me attention but, I think pearl white (with absolutely no pink hue) would look good with black stripes.

 

If it were ME....I'd go plain white if you want custom stripes, or OE stripes (red or black) if you go pearl white.

....and as much as I love red stripes on a white car.....with the tan adding some color to the mix......black on pearl white DOES sound pretty awesome!

If you want an idea what it'll look like with red, here's a pic my '91 with red stripes and a cowl. I have the flame red interior, so red just made sense.







Stripes were designed similar to the heritage stripes, but tweaked slightly.
