firebird hood vents.

firebird hood vents.

how do you remove the hood vents on the gta hood? there don't seem to be anything on the underside of the hood and I don't want to to pulling on them and break them.

I I remember correctly the ones on the front have some speed nuts that are removed from the underside of the hood with a socket. The side vents are held in by metal clips that slid towards the vent and can be accessed with a long standard screwdriver. Both are a pain to remove.

awesome lol.. I was expecting to see studs coming off of them that the speed nuts would hold them n place but didn't see anything, so I guess I'll have to look closer, I started sanding down the hood and noticed the grating inside the vents has been pushed it
