Parts Car - Donor Car
Hi guys,
Im just wondering if 83 would be a good donor car for an 86 TA ... I know its pretty close but i thought i saw somewhere that best is 82-84 then 86-88 .. something like that

If your car is an '86, then I'd say the best parts car for you is an '86. If you want to go with a wider range, then I'd say 1985-90 as they didn't change a whole lot between those years. 1982-84s have different bumpers/dash/console/ground effects/steering wheels/wheels/taillights/seats, and a ton of other things.
If you mean "best" in the subjective sense, then I'd say 1982-84s are the worst. They're uglier, slower in some cases, have fewer options, and are generally harder to find parts for.

Thanks ! Im currently trying to get my hands on an 86 .. i have an 83 right now and was thinking on keeping it for parts but no sense now im just gonna sell it ... thank you again
