z20 option spoiler

Hey i Just recently found out about the z20 option for the third gen birds. Included in that package, there was a **** fin style spoiler for formula/ base model Firebirds. I think they where only available for the 86-88 model years.

I love the way this thing looks! any chance of there being a way to get it on my 1992 Firebird?

Re: z20 option spoiler

That's a good looking spoiler. Gives the back of the car a slightly 2nd gen look.

Re: z20 option spoiler

It definitely reminds me of the second gen. Apparently the Z20 package was a direct call back to the second gens with some wheel flairs and everything. I am really hope i can get the spoiler.

Re: z20 option spoiler

Can't say I like it or hate it from that angle. But yea, a bit of the 2nd gen. flair there.

I'm really not sure how a part like this can be $400, when a similar part, from the same manufacturer, and vendor, for a 69 Firebird is $120. They sell the 69 Trans Am spoiler for $280.

Re: z20 option spoiler

It always kills me that when manufactures go through the trouble of doing a total change of style they always have an option that is a throw back to the previous body style lol!
