Camaro front fascia adjustment faux pas?

Pardon my French. I was adjusting the front fascia to close the gap with my hood (why lines up with the fenders) and in "insisting" where it goes with some shimming and some muscle while tightening the mounting bolts. Now I have noticed at certain angles and certain lighting that the top nose plastic is cupped to either side of the centerline of the nose (the two sloped areas just to either side), a bit more now, maybe from the "insisting" on the proper position as I shimmed and tightened the bolts.

So my question is- is this cupping/warping considered un-original and in bad form or is it just normal from age and manufacture?
