I have an 85 Camaro that I am trying to figure out what I am missing on my trunk lock cylinder to get it to open by key. It does not have the automatic closing hatch, just the electronic release. I just bought another trunk lock cylinder and the rod that comes with it seems way too long to be correct. Does anybody have a picture of an 85 car showing how your lock cylinder hooks up? I haven't been able to find on in the search or google.
