Rear floor pans?

Hi guys. I’m new to forms so hopefully I’m using proper Etiquette. I just need some help. My rear floor pans are gone in my iroc. I see you cannot buy them new. Can 4th Gen rears be modified to fit? Has anyone tried it? Or is there another pan that’s closer? Live in Canada and it’s hard to find good clean Donor.

Re: Rear floor pans?

why replace the whole pan? looks like it just one spot. Make a piece out of sheetmetal and weld or panel glue it on. I just made a piece for the hole I found. I used POR15 afterwards.

Thanks. Yeah the picture doesn’t show how week they actually were able to put a screw driver in quite a few spots so I decided to do the whole front pan. The problem is the rear under the seats. I guess the best thing is to just fabricate? The 4th Gen pans look close? Thought it could save time.

Do what you gotta do. My Firebird has what was a junk Mustang fender where there used to be a rusty hole in the kick panel. 4th gen, or the side out of an old washing machine, whatever works for you.

At least another one is being saved. I see way to many good WS6 cars getting parted out for no reason other than greed.

Re: Rear floor pans?

Thanks man. It’s hard to find a rust free car in Canada. It’s going to take some work but I would rather save her. It may seem crazy but I’m already attached to this car. I want to see her on the road again. The exterior actually buffed out and looks great. Have all new shocks, springs and front steering components. Super pumped! Took next week off work so I hope to get the floor pans in. Cheers.
