Hello my fellow f body brothers and sisters. I own a 1988 firebird formula. And There’s a 91-92 firebird at the junkyard. And I was thinking about grabbing the front bumper and swapping it on my 88. Does anyone know if it will bolt directly up to it. Or any modifications will have to be made. Or if it’s more work then it’s worth. I just favor that front bumper over the boxier one. Is this possible.

 

Take everything forward of the rad support, plus the headlight assemblies. Don't forget the lower filler panels the fill the gap between the front bumper cover and fenders.

No, but I have disassembled an 86, and a couple 91s, looked at a bunch of the part numbers. It's certainly possible, and you'll want to take ALL the parts from the donor, to avoid needing a part thats hard to find.

 

Don't forget to grab the headlight harness.
