Fully opening nose for Formula.
I always wanted to make my hood on my 87 Formula open with the whole nose of the car with it. The hood would of coarse open backwards and have just the shell like hood welded to the fenders and the bumper connected to the fenders so it would open like a 1966 Jaguar E-Type. I have a spare set of hatch shocks that I could use to keep the hood up to. Has anyone ever done this and would it be hard to do.
Thanks

Yes, it would take an extreme amount of work to get that done as you would have to tilt everything, make new latches, figure out how to get the fenders past the doors, tilt the lights etc. This is one of those things where if you have to ask, you probably don't have the skill to do it
Getting the hood to open in reverse has been done a few times, and would be easy compared to the whole nose/fenders
