bolt size? help!!

bolt size? help!!

while tearing apart my interior, i found a couple torx bolts that i have no idea what size they are.. the bolt that the back seat clamps onto and the bolt that holds the seat belt in the floor next to the seats..

Take it to an auto parts store and match it up on one of those measurement charts in the hardware section. It'll have all different sizes, both standard and metric. It'll either be a plastic table or a string with different size threads. Just thread the bolt into the right one and you'll know the size and thread pitch.

I think the seatbelt bolt is a T-50.The other one may be the same or a T-45,T-40.

for mine the T-50 was too big, the T-45 was too small, I think I had to use a T-47 of all things. Of course my tools might be a little out of whack. Its about that size though...

i finally got them out with a t45. it was the rite size for the seat belts, but the bolt that the rear seats clamped to was a little larger and the t50 was too big. i didnt know they made a t47?? thanx for the quick replys!!
