Re: Lift supports
I just installed new hood and hatch struts that I purchased from RockAuto.com. Can't comment on their long term durability, but they seem to be well made and perform their job as intended.
Hood, SG430001, $23 delivered to my door.
Hatch, SG130001, $38 delivered to my door.
Hope this helps!

Re: Lift supports
None of them last very long. Best bet is to buy a set from a local chain store with a lifetime warranty. Copy the receipt and keep a copy someplace safe. Hope the store doesn't go out of business. When they start to get soft, take them in and get a new set.
Alternatively, look for close out prices on Rock Auto and just be prepared to buy new ones after a few years. Rock Auto dumped a bunch of them in the last couple years because the plastic sleeves they were packed in, split. Made them cheap enough to justify no easy warranty options.

Re: Lift supports
I bought mine at Advance Auto. A friend of mine was a manager there so I got his discount. They've been on there for about 3 years now and still work fine.
