i'm trying to figure out what shipping costs would be for some rims. could anyone tell me what a 91-92 z28 rim with 235/55/16 tire on it would weigh?

IMO.. the shipping cost for rims and tires is way too expensive.. when i shipped my computer from school in vermont to california it cost me just over $60. UPS ground w/ $2k insurance. im guessing that a single rim and tire weigh at least the same as my comp does. and theyll probably have to be each shipped sepearte.

May be a tad off topic, but if your gettin the 91-92 rims (16x8) dotn get the 235-55's. Since the fron rims differ from the back rims, you can do 245-50 all around or get 255's on the rear rims. Just a suggestion, thats all.

But just to stay on topic, I need to replace the front drivers side rim on my 91 (same fore mentioned rims). Other than the swap meet this spring where would be a good place to pick up just one.

i sold a set of 91 z28 rims and tires on ebay. now i have to ship them from western connecticut to baltimore maryland. i'm trying to get some shipping quotes, but it's hard to get quotes without knowing how much they weigh. i'm at work and they're at home so it's kinda hard to weigh them now.
