HOOD BLISTER INSERTS

Hi guys, I have searched all the posts on this subject before i posted this. It was very helpful except one thing. I need to find a set and i cant seem to find any. I know they make them because my cousin got me a set for a present for when I got my car painted. Well the original idiot that was going to paint it lost them, needless to say he didn't paint my car. The good news is I found a great guy that did a wonderful job for me on it. The problem is it looks great but i really need the blister emblems. Does anyone know where i can get some more? It has been so long ago that he got them he dose not remember where he got them from.If anyone has a suggestion on what they did that would be appreciated also. All help would be greatly appreciated. I would love to post some photos on here after I am done.

Are you talking about the 91-92 z28 hood blisters themselfs or a sticker you want to put on them. What emblem are you speaking of as I dont know of any emblem that came on the hood blisters.Your post isn't very clear as to what your looking for.

Re: HOOD BLISTER INSERTS

He is speaking of the simulated vent insert in the 91-92 Z28 hood blister. It is basically just a stamped piece of tin with double sided tape. Long discontinued and unavailable.

You could cut a piece of vinyl to simulate the look. Unfortunately these parts are hard to come by your best chance is a junkyard.

Re: HOOD BLISTER INSERTS

Hate to bump an older thread, but just wondering if anyone ever found a suitable replacement for these hood blisters?
The Ebay carbon fiber ones seem to be gone, but I wasn't really a big fan of those anyways.

Would love to find something closer to the originals.
Had my car painted years ago, but have never have been able to find replacements.
