How do I get this 3rd screw out without breaking the mirror? Need to remove for paint. Have tried angled screwdrivers and straight ones. Can’t get the correct angle. Any suggestions?

Re: Side Mirror Teardown Issues
The mirror pops off. Pop it off very slowly. Go from the side and top corner. Pull gently and it will come out.

So the glass itself or the glass and the plastic mount? What tools did you use? Can you post a pic of this please? thanks!!

The glass comes out with the flat plastic piece it’s attached to.

No tools. Just put fingers under top edge and side and pulled gently. It pops off quite easily. No pics as I boxed everything up already.

It rachets out, its the cross though that you have to make sure not to break off.
