88 gta frozen door need help

Car: 1988 GTA Trans am 1 owner since new
Engine: 383 built
Transmission: 1995 camaro t56 6 speed
Axle/Gears: 3.24 posi 9 bolt
88 gta frozen door need help

Why does my driver side door always freeze solid right after -0 c anything
How do I fix it
It's been making me crazy for 25 years

Canadian problems haha. Is your weatherstripping tired? I'd say maybe enough water is getting in to freeze and hold the door closed. Is the actual door frozen shut, or is the handle just not working?

The weather strolling is dead
I know that
The handle is fine
I once used vasiline on the seal years ago
The only way is to fix the seal
And I'm gonna have to go out with a hairdryer for 30mins I did that before
It is frozen down where the gta skirt meet the door way up under

Warm water..............
My buick rat doors always froze to the rubbers.
Pour warm water around the edges.
