AFAIK, there's never been a steel SS hood, only fiberglass. I believe the SS hood for 3rdgen Camaros is originally from ASCD, and it's still available. Best looking aftermarket 3rdgen Camaro hood, IMO. Wish ASCD would make it for Firebirds.

I've never read anything good about Duraflex hoods. Nothing. Not its sister company either, Carbon Creations, which offers "carbon fiber" hoods that, from reviews I've read and products I've seen, are really Duraflex's brand of fiberglass, skinned with CF. But I'd think there must be some people here on TGO who have Duraflex hoods and are happy with them. Disappointing, too, because Duraflex seems to be the only option left for the Ram Air 1 hood for Firebirds, which was also originally built by ASCD and was a good product at that time, but isn't available from them anymore.
