carpeting interior panels

carpeting interior panels

alright i am planning on carpeting all of the interior pieces in my car. i ordered some stretchy carpet stuff off the net for 3.95 a yd. i got 5 yards so i should have plenty . it is charcoal gray and i am gonna leave the dash in black and the center console as well. but how should i go about gluein it. what is the best glue. any help would be appreciated. thanx

Use Permatex All purpose Spray Adhesive Item # 82019. Plan on doing the same with my rear interior pieces. I used this to carpet the inside of my Goldwing saddle bags and trunk. Good Luck!

Where on the web did you get it? Does it look similar to the factory trim carpet?

i dont remember the exact site off the top of my head but i will get it for u. i am not sure what the factorystuff looks like but i hope this will turn out good.

it is off of the parts express site under speaker building. it was 3.65 a yard and i got five yds. with shipping and everything it is costin me 28 bucks

The stretchy stuff I have seen has been trunk liner material. There is some with a rubber backing, its harder to work with...

you might be able to find it at JoAnns, or an upholstery fabric place. If not, most upholsters have it on hand.

I am planning on lining all my interior panels with vinyl. including the headliner and all. it should turn out great.......
