I've been waiting since college to get my car painted. I'm finally getting it done, and I'm doing all of the prep work. This will be a big learning experience for me, and I'm hoping I don't screw it up too much. As I was starting, I was measuring all of the locations of the decals and badges. I have a service manual that shows the proper location for the badges, but has nothing for the bird decals on the sail panels. As I was digging into this, the two decals are not in the same position for both sides, and I'm not sure which is correct. I have been searching this site, but have been unable to find this information. Can anyone help with that? I don't post much here, but I have always come here for the wealth of knowledge from everyone here. I've learned a lot just from lurking. I'm nervous, as I have never taken on a project of this level, but I'm very excited for it to finally be happening. Here's a quick pic of the beginning of the sanding process:
