Ecklers/Ricks is just a parts seller, so they're selling you an after market cover either the OER or Goodmark. If you can get your hands on the genuine GM piece, that would be your best bet.

Hi Neil,
True, Ecklers might not be the manufacturer. Ecklers/Ricks Camaro sells a one piece fiberglass bumper/spoiler combo (not a Goodmark or OER) that looks good, issue is they want $500 for shipping and there are "No" alternative delivery methods. My concern with the OEM/GM pieces is shelf life. I would think most of the injection molded pieces for our cars were made many years ago and might have polymer degradation by now.

I took the part number to my local chevy dealer and they found me a new old stock front bumper for like $330. I didn't have to pay shipping since it was delivered to the dealer. I'd give that a try.

Shifty, thanks for the info. I'm looking into the dealer route. Can you comment on the quality, fitment and look of the OEM front bumper? No issues prepping and painting?

The fit was really good since it was a GM part. I am not sure about aftermarket but I'd assume like other aftermarket body parts you'll have to roll with the punches. I have not painted mine yet. The only issue I had was getting the aftermarket headlight panel to fit.
