Hey guys, just bought a 1989 Trans Am this weekend. Going through it's issues and have a question about the door latch.
It closes, but the latch allows the door to move in and out half an inch. If i put a screwdriver in the latch assembly, it moves back and forth after latching. Seems to be fully work out.
Seems there are differences between the years on this part. I see listings for like 82-88 and 89-92. And finding originals is looking to be quite difficult. Anyone know of an aftermarket that works with an 1989?
