Hi all.

Got an 87 Trans Am. It needs some paint done on it. It was repainted years ago in the original colour which I've been told is WA9021 however my paint supply place shows nothing on his system for that code.

If he ditches the WA it comes up as a GM silver metallic but its for 90s and 00s cars. rpo sticker is missing from the console so I can't double check.

Does anyone have anymore info on this silver or is that the right code and its simply called silver metallic? Thanks

 

Dunno if it helps, but our 1100 mile Silver '85 T/A at work shows WA8547 as the code. My Firebird Red Book is at home, so all I have to go by right now is my Camaro White Book, which does show the same color code for Silver in both 1985 and 1987 (but not 1986 for some reason).

thanks mate. However that's the slightly darker silver GM used.

Looks like I've found what I need though. A list of all different suppliers codes for the right colour so he should have at least one on his system

the same code.13 seems to be your paint code witch you can compare with the paint list I supplied
