Ground Effects

Curious about repainting the ground effects on my 87 Z28. The siver is so faded and I want to pull them all for a respray. Were these also basecoat/clearcoat from the factory? Not sure if they were dull to provide contrast. Let me know, thanks!

Re: Ground Effects

Yes, the ground effects were clear coated (along with the wheels) from the factory.

Re: Ground Effects

I painted my ground effects the same way I painted the rest of the car. I might’ve used a different primer for the bumpers and from ground effect bc the material is different, but everything else went on the same
