Deep chip in finish, what paintable putty?

Just got back from a drive, received a deep chip in the finish. Looks too deep to just detail paint it, I need something to fill the hole and then paint. What to use?

They do make a spot body filler... It's not a 2 part filler...and it's much softer than bondo... Sands easier too ..usually called glazing and spot filler. Need to stay thin as it will crack as it cures if it's thick.

why not post a pic so we can see?

but, drop some base coat and then clear. add more clear until the chip is gone. let it dry, wet sand and buff and itll be gone

A pic might help, but build it up with touch up paint and clearcoat.
