rear hatch trim piece

Pardon my ignorance in advance y'all. But what's the trick to getting the interior plastic off the bottom of the hatch?? I've got the 2 obvious screws out but something's still holding it in something fierce. trying to run down trouble w/3rd brake light & have got no continuity from the ground contact to the right side. but cant get the blasted panel off to continue. (If i've missed something incredibly stupid, I sheepishly apologize.)

There are 4 plastic trim screws holding it on, two on each side. When you put it back on, make sure to get the bottom tabs in so it's tight to the body.

I thought he was talking about the other trim piece. The one that's in the hatch compartment because he only said 2 screws...

2 of the screws are coverd by the trim piece with the locking compartment.
