How do I make my information center stop beeping at me when it pops up a message? Every once in a while the "R LAMP" code comes up even though all of my bulbs are just fine. It wouldn't bother me so much if it didn't beep every 30 seconds. I almost smashed it this morning on my way to work. My feeble mind can't handle such distractions so early in the morning. By buddie's 86 has had the "COOLANT" message since he bought the car (Because he's too lame to replace the sender) but it doesn't keep beeping like mine does.

 

I can use the ansewer too...my car is always beeping rear light out.

 

On the way home tonight, the "System, OK" flashed, along with the tail light part of the car display. I started pounding on the button and it stopped making noise.

Later on tonight it stayed in the "ok" mode. Anybody know how to work this thing?

 

Me and my Brian had to got through all of his rear bulbs and replace all of them and clean the sockets for his to quit beeping.
