Aluminum corvette dist cover question...

Well I am going to be getting my engine polished up this spring so I purchased a corvette aluminum dist cover on ebay a few weeks ago. My question is about the 3 little screws that hold it on. Will they work with my new aluminum one or will I have to order the new ones from GM from the Vettes?? The car is far away and covered up for the winter so I cant really tell, but I just wanted to know. Thanks guys for any help!

Thd ones that held the plastic one on will not fit. You can get some that will fit at the local hardware store, just take one with you and ask for the same size without the washer. (thats why they dont fit) Make sure its a metric, I made a mistake and got a standard and now I have one hole with a screw stuck in it that broke off when I tried to back it out. The other two are metric and fit perfect.

the spacers on the stock screws can be removed, its just a minor pain in the ***. Otherwise the vette screws are cheap and available from GM.

Is the aluminum plenum extension/dist. cover still available from GM?

Yes, from GM they run for 24-25 dollars and the screws are pretty cheap as well.
