Rear Hatch And Window...

I have almost all the exterior parts to do a complete restoration on my 86 camaro but I need just two more parts - a steel replacement hatch and an 1/8" thick window with defrost - can anyone out there help me get these parts?? preferrably new...

have you not tried a window shop? since your going new and all........plus, i'd rather have the glass without defrosters especially if your restoring the car and it's not an everyday driver.

I have one you can have for free--but it's in Pa and it came off my 86 T/A--has the defrost and it's in good shape--if you want it give me an e-mail.

i trashed an entire mint shape t/a sw6 85 rear hatch with trans am decal and grids and huge spoiler wraparound style, couldnt even give it away tried for months, finally ran it over and stuffed it all in scrap car.. apparently parts for third gen, even the sw6 t/a's are just too common ? had to sell 3.08 posi disc axle for only 25 bucks, no one wanted it.... i had to do something, didnt need it at the time..
arent there any desireable parts yet? just curious.. if that axle was a 69 12 bolt then it would have gone for mad $$$$$

wierd....
