Hey howzit going. Well its kinda funny cuz I'm in the process of restoring a 89 RS myself. My front end got damaged drifting (hey battlescars) and I plan to replace it. My friend Chris (REVLiMiT) is gonna sell me the entire 91-92 style ground fx kit so I can update my 89 RS to 91-92 Style ... ok well maybe its not a restoration then but an update.. gonna do the wheels and wing too. But anyway, to get the front of the car off, pop the hood and remove the plastic over the radiator. You will see the bolts that hold the main piece on. Be sure to unplug the lights and go from there. Good luck with the project .. I have a little more work cut out for me as my core supports are bent. It'll look new again though when I repaint it (yeah gonna rent the booth for $100 woohoo ... black with grey racing stripe).

 

Thanks Bruddah!! Yeah got mine a couple weeks back. I love these cars and now I finally have my own. Anywayz I salvaged this one. Some guy had it sitting in his back yahd, no wheels, no front and rear glass, no seats.... but body is in fair cond. She's gonna get stripped down and I gonna fix the rust spots and all. Man you gotta see what I'm working with. You might ask yourself "why bother? can't I go out and get a better one?" But because I'm in American Samoa, there aren't that many Camaros out here. There are less than 20 third gens on island and only 5 are currently on the road. 3 RS, 1 Iroc(I brought this down from Hawaii for a friend of mine in 2000, he sold it after only 1 month.STUPID) and one v6. Shipping out here is almost $2,000 per vehicle. So I give myself 2 years(actually my wallet) to get it all done. So I'll be here often.
