Polishing cloth with Zaino?

Hopefully the weather will be nice enough during my Spring Break to Zaino my IROC. I was reading through the Zaino site and instructions on the bottle, and it says to apply and remove with a 100% cotton towel or applicator. Well I have a bunch of 100% cotton applicators, but was wondering if it would be safe to remove the Zaino with Turtle Wax Polishing Cloth? If not, I'll have to go get some more applicators or some towels.

Anyone else know if I'll be safe with polishing cloth?

It all depends on the makeup of the polishing cloth. it is recommended that you use 100% American cotton. The reason they recommend a towel is because of the size and nap. A tshirt will work also, but dust won't be absorbed into the nap and you could scratch the finish. The other reason is because the tshirt isn't large enough to do the entire car. Compare a tshirt to a bath towel and you will understand the reasons a towel is suggested. I paid $10/ea for 100% cotton towels at Kohl's. They were American cotton! Also, make sure the cloth or towel is white. The dye can be abrasive in colored towels. When you wash it, wash it normal and dry it without fabric softener. The softener leaves a film on the fabric that could also scratch. It's soft to you, but microscopic scratches can build up.
