How do they use dry ice to pull dents?

RB, the dry ice shrinks the metal where applied. It's like a snake oil kind of thing though. More or less BS.
The paintless dent removal guys do really good work. They use pick bars to push the dent out. Like anything, some guy's are good, and some........
I found one guy who might as well be magic. He took a ding out of my truck and no matter how hard i look, i can't see it.
