ok I got a set of rocker panels for my SC, I know I hve to make templates to drill the holes in the right places, but what about the holes on the top of the rocker panels? Do I have to weld something to the car to hold the top part!? or can I just throw them on with the existing screws?
please let me know so I can throw them on by tomorrow.
thanks

Yes you need to weld the rocker gfx brackets to the rocker panels. I riveted mine on when I added my gfx back in '89, and that was a huge mistake. Then I screwed them into the rocker panels, worse mistake. I finally had them welded on less than a year later in '90. Been just fine ever since.
