I want to install my adjustable proportioning valve to proportion my rear brakes, but I need to know which size fittings the stock brake lines are for the prop valve and what adapters I'm going to need to buy. I got the adj. valve off ebay, but I think its identical to the one Summit sells.

 

I'm sure some of you have installed adjustable proportioning valves. What adapter fittings did you need, and what size are the stock brake line fittings into the prop valve on an '88 TA? I want to have all the necessary fittings before getting the lines apart.

I'd like to hear from anyone who put an adjustable prop valve on an '88 or older car (because of the differing thread pitches that came in some '89 and all newer ones). What did you decide to do with the lines? Did you just cut the stock lines and flare them with different fittings?
