alright, ive replaced in order: front pads, rubber lines, master cyl.
rear brakes have been adjusted, work fine. lines have been bled until fresh fluid is showing... no air in lines. calipers are good, booster is good. master cyl was bench bled prior to replacement. new rubber lines were added when the master cyl was replaced.
when i replaced the strut towers i went to get an alignment.
problem: they could not finish alignment because the front brakes would not lock up. i seen this personally, the pedal was practically on the floor, and the guy was turning the front wheels by hand.
there is no leakage on any wheel cylinders, or the master cyl, and everything seems to be im proper working order.
i do not see any reason for this happening. the only thing that i could even think to be causing this is the proportioning valve. evne though i do not see this causing the problem.
anybody have any idea that im missing (or the shop for that matter) that may cause this situation?
personally i think its thers no reason this should be happening after all these parts have been replaced, and everything is in working order. brakes seem to be working okay on the street (although the pedal does go down too far).
any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does the brake pedal stick?

I have had this happen before i replaced everything.

The problem was one of the rubber lines was chafed on the inside and was acting like a flapper valve.

The fluid would pass by the internal tear and then the tear would stop the fluid from returning.

I would put back on the orginal lines if they were not leaking one at a time and see if this fixes it.

If it is a bad line you can isolate it and take it back as defective.
