Powdercoating whole rotor

what will happen if i have my vette rotors powdercoated like all red or black or silver . They are allready broken in with like 1000 miles or something. SO i have the whole thing powdercoated and then have the rotor turned. Is this just gonna hold heat in or will it not be bad? This is just a just wondering thing.

I don't know if there'd be any point to powdercoating the whole thing. You probably wouldn't be able to true it up in the lathe with the powercoating on it, so it would have to be masked anyway.
