Rear Brake Upgrade
Rear Brake Upgrade
Well guys im sort of in a pickle here, having a 7.625" 10 bolt and putting down a decent amount of power ive been looking at C-Clip eliminators, however knowing a disc rear would be just as good keeping my axles in where theyre supposed to be i started checking that out. However the problem is this, this is mostly a drag car meaning a 15" wheel is being used (Weld Draglite) now I cant see to find a bolt on kit or another option that doesnt require machineing of stuff that will fit a "stock" 15" wheel, now I donno if the draglites have more clearance than most or not im just looking for a rear set up thats pretty straight forward that I can fit underneither some 15" drag lites. Id appreciate the help fellas thanks

To follow up with this question, I have 15X8 Weld ProStars for rear drag rims. Will these fit over the '89-92 rear disc brakes? I know my front 15X5 rims fit over the 12" 1LE brakes up front. Thanks.

It will depend on backspacing and such, I did a fit up on spares a while back, maybe it will help. I would think that the brakes would fit into those wheels:

Thanks! I'll have to see if I can test fit my rims on any local 3rd-gens that have the larger rear discs. I'm sure you know why I'm interested in checking.
