considering running their "Quick Change Force 10" unit. it's a stock replacement aluminum caliper and is a 2 piston unit that utilizes all stainless fasteners and stainless pistons. i will not be going to a larger brake because of my wheel selection being limited to ONLY 15" wheels. the calipers come with all hardware along with some "performance" pads. the whole deal can be had through summit for $389.99. www.ssbrakes.com for more details.
car is used as a dailydriver/street rod/drag car. i just want something abit better than stock to slow down after a 115mph pass on some of the backwoods tracks we go to occasionally that don't have any shutdown area.
anyone have any comments? opinions? experiences? suggestions?

Experiences....stock brakes suck, especially at 140. I would look at other options. Some GM cars came factory with 12" front discs stuffed inside 15" steel wheels (caprice, cadillac fleetwood). I would look for a larger rotor versus this caliper. That will help you stop. FWIW, I have 12's all the way around and can fit a stock 15x7 5-spoke alum. wheel over the rears (barely, but it fits). You need a larger diameter front rotor if you want to stop.

looks nice! well, i'm really just wanting to drop some more weight off the front of the car, and this would also get me to slow down a bit better too...kinda two birds with one stone.
i have a few other things i'll be doing up front to reduce weight too, and this will probably be one of the last things i do cause i JUST put new calipers on as it is....just thought i'd get some opinions on the company.
