Well im looking at parts to upgrade my stock brakes instead of buying oem replacement parts i was searching for better rotors and found some slotted rotors (should i get slotted or drilled?). I dont want to swap rears for 4 wheels disc brakes or spend alot on brakes just wanted something alittle better then stock. Also do they make any upgraded drums, calipers, wheel cylinders if there is such thing as better wheel cylinders, or ceramic brake pads or better shoes you all know of would be great.

slotted rotors

power slot makes good rotors i have used them on alot. ssbc makes twin piston front calipers to replace the stock single piston iron units. get a set of hawk or performance friction pads pads. upgrade the hoses to braided lines. thats about all you can do and still use a basically stock setup.

All true but those calipers alone are 330-390 dollars and your still clamping a small 10.5 inch rotor. With a little scroungin around you could have a c4 brake setup on your car for less with twin piston calipers and 12 inch rotors.

From all that i have read, slotted rotors are a better bet for the street. the slots help escape the gases and clean the pads. for drilled rotors. they help with the gases also but have a tendancy to crack right around the holes.
