I guess the search feature is down, I tried to read a few pages but finally gave up and just posting the question.

88 GTA now w/ LS1 power. Rear brakes are providing some but not much stopping power. On the rack you can't keep the rear wheels from turning when in gear. Emergency brake doesn't work either. Calipers and pads appear to be in good to very good shape. Previously replaced old rubber lines with braided steel. Did another brake bleed, no air and good fluid flow. One other sympton that I don't think is related but it does have a little pull to passenger side on hard stops.

I've seen some discussion of a recall but couldn't find any more details. Could this play a part. What else should I be checking? This is low mileage car (92K almost) that has been well kept.

They are probably corroded inside, it doesn't take much to FUBAR those. Go get some remans or convert to PBR or LS1 calipers.
