breaking off locking nuts (need help)

breaking off locking nuts (need help)

Does anyone know how to break off the grollia locking lug nuts off?

Engine: 242 DOHC and an empty engine bay.
Transmission: 5R55S, T5 soon to be auto
Axle/Gears: 3.58s and soon to be 4.10s
I just hammered a socket onto mine n cranked em off with a breaker bar... See what size goes over easy and then step it down about a 1/8 inch.. Get a cheapo socket so that you dont ruin your good ones...

Most Tire shops have the speciallized reverse-cut sockets that
cut into and spin the lugs off. I believe NAPA sells them, but
probably only in a complete set of 6 sizes.. Check with your local
shop, and if they don't have them, maybe you can work a deal to
buy a set and trade them to the shop for the labor to put them
to use..
