"squishy LS1 rears"
hey guys I havent been able to swap the C5 brakes in the front yet so all i have is the stock fronts on my 91 with LS1 rears. I also have the stock master and prop valve. I was wondering if anyone noticed the ls1 rears being "squishy" they dont seem like they are getting enough brake fluid OR I have to bleed them some more. Im thinking its since I dont have the C5s up front the stock front brakes use less fluid than the rear LS1s therefore when i hit the brakes the fronts "maxout" before the rears get enough fluid. Am I looking at this right?

I was about to post a question that has to do with your question. The LS1 rear sounds real nice, but I was unsure how 10.5 inch rotor brakes in front and 12 inch rotor brakes in back would drive
.
I hope you get your squishiness resolved.

GM built a ton of these cars with big disc brakes on the rear and small discs on the front. The Formula I had and the one I have now both came that way. I put 1LE brakes on the front to improve my braking.

Ok so caliper size doesnt matter? I was just thinking if the prop vavle was designed for a smaller caliper in the rear, it wouldnt be able to "fill" it before the front went tight. idk ill be fixing it either way as soon as my damn C5 brackets get here!
