banjo block?

banjo block?

hey guys new to this forums so hello every one,

i have just spent 2 hours lookin thru this site tryin to find out where i could possibly find this part.heres the scoop. My wifes iroc has had spongy breaks since we bought it recently i noticed a wet spot around the drivers rear calliper on the bottom by the banjo bolt and the calliper was froze , so i put on a reman calliper and a new brake line from the tee to the calliper but there is a brass fitting that i cannot find anywhere i got new brass washers with the calliper but it still leaks (AAARRRGGGHHHHH) any help with an actual part name number anything plz plz plz


oh by the great site not all of the 2 hours was spent lookin for thsi problem .

I'm not sure I entirely understand about the brass fitting. With new crush washers in place, you should be able to tighten the banjo bolt sufficiently enough to eliminate a leak.

fitting

thats what i would think to but it might have gotten damaged early on and thats why it was leaking in the first place.anyway i didnt replace the banjo bolt itself so im off to the parts store today to get that and hopefully a new fitting if i can find one.

banjo block

ok went and bought a new banjo bolt and washers seems to be working great but when i went to bleed the brakes i noticed air buubles coming up into the reservoir from the mc everytime the pedal is pushed in the resevoir feels a little loose in my opinion could this be the source or is that just a normal feel for the resevoir.
